FutureScripts® Earns URAC Pharmacy Benefit Manager Accreditation

Seal of approval provides quality assurance to consumers and purchasers

Philadelphia, PA — January 12, 2009 — FutureScripts announced today that it has been awarded full accreditation in Pharmacy Benefit Management from URAC, a Washington, DC-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. URAC Pharmacy Benefit Management accreditation provides a symbol of excellence to employers, health care consumers, regulators and providers, and validates FutureScripts’ commitment to quality, service, and accountability.

The URAC standards address organizational quality, customer service, communications, disclosure of pricing policies, pharmaceutical distribution, drug utilization management, and formulary/pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
