Compliance Training

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) require that all employees responsible for the administration or delivery of Part D benefits receive generalized and specialized compliance training upon their initial hiring and annually thereafter.

FutureScripts® Secure (FSS) provides such training to all of its associates as mandated by CMS. In order to better serve our network pharmacies, FSS makes available portions of its fraud, waste, and abuse training program in order to:

  • review FSS’s compliance program, including our policies and procedures, our code of conduct, and our commitment to business ethics and regulatory compliance;
  • review policy related to contracting with the government, including laws relating to fraud, waste, and abuse;
  • review the CMS disciplinary guidelines for noncompliant or fraudulent behavior, including possible termination;
  • identify and know how to report fraud, waste, and abuse that can occur in pharmacies;
  • understand your protections when reporting.
