Since operations began in October 2006, we have built a network of more than 63,000 pharmacies and contracted with drug manufacturers to provide the best possible pricing to our customers. The Company has also developed the latest in formulary management programs to address appropriate utilization and safety concerns. This has allowed FutureScripts to consistently and successfully manage our clients’ pharmacy benefits, delivering clinical safety and efficacy, and lowest net cost.
With a local Philadelphia presence and long-standing ties to the community, FutureScripts is the PBM of choice for thousands of employer groups of all sizes and across all industries throughout the tri-state area. Having developed long-term, robust relationships with employers, members, and insurers, FutureScripts delivers PBM services in partnership with the region’s most highly respected health plans and benefit administrators, including Independence Blue Cross, Independence Administrators, AmeriHealth® and AmeriHealth Administrators®.
With key differentiators, such as innovative clinical programs, creative benefit designs and outstanding client and member services, FutureScripts continues to develop services and programs that best meet the needs of our clients and their members. With more than 90 associates, FutureScripts provides PBM services to approximately 1 million commercial members and 100,000 Medicare lives, processes approximately 14 million unadjusted prescriptions, and manages a drug spend of more than $750 million annually.
